Easter Sunday

TRADITIONS!!!

I found the rice krispy egg idea on pinterest... note to self spray them first next year.

Someone has been enjoying reading her books lately.

She was sad she didn't get a cupcake.

But really she did get one!

And she enjoyed it. And Granma babysat on skype so mom and dad could do dishes.

It was that good!

Easter Saturday and Meeting Alicia and the Girls

When we woke up on Saturday the Easter Bunny had come!!!

New jammies, pants, baby wash, a ball, a dog, and a cup were all hits! We then hurried to get ready to drive to SLC and see Alicia and the girls and Chris & Holly and kids. It was a fun few hours!

Alicia making sure Emery thinks she is the best ever-giving her an Oreo. Too bad everyone we went to see were crazies and don't like MEGA stuffed Oreos.

Both Aly and Heather had fun playing with her but I only got pictures of Heather apparently.

It was so good to see all of them!

We headed home and Jared's parents and Julisa stopped by on their way through to go back to Idaho. They babysat for us to Jared and I could go to the temple. Then we had dinner at Chili's and they hit the road!

[side note: at about 10 that night Jared and I were trying to figure out why her head was so hot. Then we took her headband off and she was still wearing a headband. Then it occurred to me... from 11-1 when we were out in the court and I didn't even think about sunscreen or a hat for her.... I lathered her up with aloe vera and the next morning she was brown. THANK goodness she got my skin!!!]

Ashley's Baby Shower

First... my baby is growing too fast.

I did a mini taco bar with wanton wrappers baked at 425 for 7 min in a mini cupcake sheet. It was so cute! I wish I had a before picture. Shanda and I made the diaper cake as our present.

A Grillin' Evening.

We had fun playing outside while dad was grilling hamburgers the other night! We're so happy for grilling weather to be back! Shanda brought a few hot dogs over and asked Jared to cook them so they hung out with us for a while. Emery is still not so sure about that grass stuff... but she's loving the sticks!

Enjoy the Journey.

I love this girlie.

She brightens my every day.
