Misc. October

She fell in love with the bumbo again, and Tangled.

Our smoke detector is super sensitive, sometimes it goes off from just opening the oven. She used to cry and be terrified, now she helps her daddy fan it.

Pinterest idea.

Birthday lunch for Cassidee. We found out that Emery loves chips and salsa!

Our lion after church.

She's starting to really love books!

Enjoy the Journey.

Cell Phone Update

I hate the quality of the pictures, but this is basically how our everyday life gets documented. :)

She got to pay $1 for bracelets at a yardsale.

Driving the (parked) car.

At the BYU game, showing off her chapstick she won.

She's loved talking to Emmaline on Facetime lately.

Pushing her bike was more fun.

Fit throwing.

As the caramel started sloughing off.

Yes this happened.... slow down on growing up girlie!

She would take a tiny bite, put it back in the bag and get a new one. :)

At the Halloween party we went to.

Halloween crazy hair!

She's all girl! She loves the clip on ear rings!

Happy (feeling better) and headed home from G & G Jones.

Happy Halloween!

Watching HSM at Gretchen's while mom quilts (post to come!).

She loves to rock baby Jesus.

I asked her to smile and she responded "No."

We went to the candy factory and she picked out a sucker for 10 cents. She was so happy on the way home, then traded it for some lunch. :)

Enjoy the Journey.

Mini Caramel Apples

First off: Ignore my crazy "I need a haircut" hair....

I've been trying to do more "doing" than "pinning" lately in regards to pinterest. It's actually going really well and I'll post about that later.

A few weeks ago we did the mini caramel apples where you use a mellon baller to make "mini apples" then dip them. They were great to start off, then as they sat all of the caramel sloughed off of them. I think they would be fabulous for a party in a fondue setting, where they were ate immediately. We had fun though!

Enjoy the Journey.

Carving Pumpkins with the Youngs

Our good friends came from Orem to carve pumpkins with us. It was so much fun! We had potato soup and cornbread for dinner, watched some football and Psych, talked and laughed. I loved when someone would get injured in the game and Gretchen would take a knee. Emery loved playing with the kids, drinking paint water, and staying up way past her bed time. :)

She actually didn't mind it at all!

The girls came down from upstairs and Emery's diaper was off, but attached to her night gown. It was soooo funny!

Gretchen's pumpkin was so adorable!

Jared carved the specialized symbol in his, I did just a face like usual.

It was such a fun night and we can't wait to have them up again soon!!!

Enjoy the Journey.
