The Girlie

I just found this saved in my drafts from about a month ago. She is growing and learning so much everyday!

As I was laying with Emery putting her to bed tonight she started to pat her belly and then clap. It was followed with "Earr weeee Emmie and mom and da-e (and lots of other random family member's names) Earr weeee" (clap and smack her belly). I was trying so hard not to giggle because it was so adorable! She's loving all of the nursery songs!

We {heart} Bikes

She just wanted to ride her bike and couldn't understand why Mom and Da-E were laughing and grabbing the camera. She LOVES her bike!

Bear Lake

We had the opportunity to rent our friend's cabin in Bear Lake the second weekend in July. We had such a fun time! It is right on the golf course, it's a beautiful cabin, huge, and we got a killer deal. We can't wait to go back!

All of these hugs/pictures were her say/request. At one point "Granpa Great" asked her "Who gives more hugs than you do?" She quickly responded "Da-E" and every one busted up laughing! 

We went up Thursday morning and Jared came up that evening. When he got there she was showing him where she was going to sleep and fell and smacked her eye. It just peeled off her skin, but made quite the black eye and scab for a few days!

Granma Great was pretending to sleep and when Em went to kiss her and wake her up she said "Boo", Emery was so startled and they both busted up laughing!

Friday morning the boys went golfing!

The play we went to was fabulous!! "Who Shot Juanito Bandito" at the Pickleville Playhouse. 

Then we went to Pizza and Em loved playing with the silverware while we waited.

Saturday we went to the Lake and I need to get pictures from Jill, I didn't take my camera out once because we were having so much fun! Sunday we went to church and headed home. It was a great trip!

We roll like Michael Jackson around here sometimes. 

She really wanted to help dad with the bikes, but wasn't being very helpful.

Nothing is happier than wrapping yourself up in the curtains the day before your birthday with one of your best friends and spending the morning giggling like crazy!

4th of July

On the Fourth we woke up and went to Idaho Falls for the parade. Em loved it but hated when it was loud. She went between the three of us the entire time. She also loved it when she got "Can-E Frow!"

We went home and all took naps and then had dinner. That evening we headed up to our "spot" for fireworks!

Brianne was so kind as to share her fries with Emery... well.... after the first one I don't know that she had a choice but to share. :)

She loved Emmaline's stroller.

The group... plus the two photo-bombers in the back. 

I have NO DOUBT Granma was with us during the fireworks. I teared up several times because I could feel her presence so strongly. I'm so grateful that Heavenly Father lets the veil be thin sometimes. It was a beautiful night!

This one's for you Alicia!

Sorry about the eyes on you Mom... after we got home we grabbed the fireworks and watermelon and headed to Sister Young's to keep up with tradition!

Goldman Sachs

The beginning of June Jared started working for Goldman Sachs. It was a little adjustment but not much. He works right in downtown and is on their private banking team. His work day starts at 7 is generally home around 6. We're thankful he works hard for our family! Accepting this job was an incredibly easy decision and we feel so blessed that it fell into our laps! We're also really thankful for our friends who sent GS's hiring reps our way.

Bowling

We took Emery bowling for the first time over the weekend of the 4th. She LOVED it. We're going to have to use our pass of all passes to go more often!

The Young Family

Dan and Gretchen and their kids moved to Michigan at the start of June. We went to dinner with them before they left and had a great time! Unfortunately I didn't take very many pictures. :( 

We're so happy for them and their new adventure but miss them like crazy!
