Little Beauty

We've loved summer and are sad that the end seems near. At the same time it has been soooooo hot outside we're excited for fall to roll in and to spend more time outside. 

But this girl... she's growing up tooooooo fast.

Cousins

Two weeks ago the Banks clan dropped in for a while. It was so great to see them! Parker and Julia found the snails in the back yard and were playing with them like crazy and loved it! Emery is basically as big as Parley (you can tell in the picture) so he didn't understand why she didn't understand how to play stick pull with him; he was explaining it perfectly! It was fun to watch them play together!

This girlie loves PAW PAW and will get them out of the freezer by herself to eat them! She'll eat as many as I'll let her in one sitting!

She thought she was so funny when she sat in the seat on the carpet and buckled herself in and then started to walk around. It kept her occupied on and off for at least an hour. She was sad when we took it back to Emmaline.

We met up with Paige and James at the Dinosaur Museum a few weeks ago and let the kids run wild. They loved it like usual!

Family Night with the Wilsons

Two weeks ago we went to Red Robbin, Bridal Veil Falls, Krispy Kreme and Trafalga with the Wilson gang. It was such a fun evening!

Our food was a little slow and messed up, but they were happy when it finally came! Emmaline tried Root Beer for the first time and it was hilarious!

This picture is overexposed but it describes how much they loved the evening!

Emmaline loved the water but eventually her feet were ice. She was soooo angry with us when we wouldn't let her get in anymore!

Then they grabbed Emmaline to join them for a bit.

After we played a few games like the ones above we found the coin/ticket machines. The girls loved putting the coins in and then getting the tickets! One machine ran out so I went and told the manager and he replaced it and hit a button to spit out a few since we didn't get any and had used some coins. It ended up spitting out over 1600 tickets! We ended up with about 2400 and got both of the girls a little beany baby. They were sooo happy!

Little Mom

This girlie is quite the little mom lately to her baby. She makes sure she is fed, takes naps and goes to bed on time, goes potty, gets her back patted and is bounced when she's "shhad", goes on walks, etc.

She's my favorite little mom ever.

Please slow down. My girlie is growing up WAAAYYYYY too fast. I mean, hair long enough for a french braid? Really? Again, if you could just slow down so that my girlie won't be grown the next time I blink....

Splash Pad

A month ago Paige and James invited us to go to the splash pad. We were so excited and got ready and then realized that Jared had accidentally taken Emery's carseat to work in his car. We squished James back into his infant carrier and then Emery used his seat. THEY LOVED sitting next to each other and giggling! It was a fun morning.
